Connect an assistant

Let ChatGPT, Claude or your code editor work with your Mailrelay account: look up subscribers, draft campaigns and check results. You choose what it's allowed to do when you log in.

Add it to your assistant

ChatGPT 1. Open ChatGPT Plugins, click **+** and choose **Add custom MCP server**. 2. Enter `Mailrelay` as the name and the server URL, choose **OAuth** as the authentication and click **Create as a plugin**. 3. Log in to Mailrelay, choose the permissions and approve the connection.
Claude 1. In claude.ai, go to **Customize → Connectors**, click **+ Add** and choose **Add custom connector**. 2. Enter `Mailrelay` as the name and the server URL, then click **Add**. 3. Log in to Mailrelay, choose the permissions and approve the connection.
Claude Code ```bash claude mcp add --transport http mailrelay https://[YOUR-ACCOUNT]/mcp ``` Then run `/mcp` inside Claude Code, select **mailrelay** and log in.
VS Code Run **MCP: Open User Configuration** from the Command Palette and add: ```json { "servers": { "mailrelay": { "type": "http", "url": "https://[YOUR-ACCOUNT]/mcp" } } } ``` Then run **MCP: List Servers**, select **mailrelay → Start Server** and log in.
Other clients Any assistant that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth can connect using the server URL.

Check that it works

Ask your assistant something read-only. If it answers with your plan details, you're connected.
